There's something about the Mekong that fascinates me. Possibly as it is so wide (and fast flowing at the moment due to all the rains) and that it travels down through China, Laos, Cambodia and out into the South China Sea in Southern Vietnam. ... It must happen often as there was no panic, no shouting. The ferry was pushed off and set in the right direction - almost with a pat on the hull. Oh to have such faith in the captain after that!
............. slightly odd though as you rarely see a hard hat on a building site on dry land..........
