Every day, during the low tides, kids and women from nearby places gather on Tikkodi beach to collect small crabs and mussels ( that they cook later ) from the exposed rocks. It was fun to watch the tiny tots armed with just a blunt knife and scooping down the small crabs and mainly the mussels form the crevices of the rocks. And trust me , they were real good at their work.
