One of the many coulured birds called eighty-eights in the southern forests of Western Australia
when some one is feeling happy or feeling free, always looks up, this photo reflects that real freedom.
Surprisingly hard to get so this picture made the blog despite some bluring. These beautiful and tiny creatures are completely captivating. This little chap is only a couple of inches long and weighs next to nothing. This picture doesn`t do justice to the shimmering green colours
Just to the left of the feeder is a hummingbird hovering just before coming in to feed. I didn´t have the photo gear or the light to get a better picture than this. The only thing missing is the bird song and the buzzing of hyper speed wings.
