After an impromptu English lesson in the Pagoda at Da Lat. These two young monks were great fun. Thung Hoa came up to me as I was looking at the inside of the Temple and asked if I would help with his English lessons Soon after Thanh Ngo joined us as did one of the older monks

Entrance to the Cathedral in the Main Square

In the middle of Christchurch the entrance to the cathedral was decorated with an archway of flowers in celebration of the flower festival - inside there were some beautiful displays

The ´New´Cathedral, Cuenca

This huge building dominates the main plaza in the old city of Cuenca. Sporting domes, turrets and towers it is an impressive place indeed.

The Church of San Sebastian Cuenca

The Church is just 1 block up Calle Simon Bolivar from our hostel. The imposing edifice of the church is in contrast to the little elderly gentleman sat resting in the bottom right of the picture under the Cross. Cuenca has an abundance of large churches and each has numerous parades, large and small, calling in around this time of the year.
