Urban Bikes of Paris

This is an iconic urban element especially for Chinese people as their main public transport in the country. It is a surprise for me when I saw this in an European city. It is the transport for sustainable urban communities: eco-environmentally friendly carbon-free transport which is visibly found in the high streets of Paris. The French government introduced this bike transity system known as "Velib" last year (2007) as a new self-service to allow people (including tourists) to to pick up and drop off bikes throughout the city at 1,451 locations and 20,600 bikes.

Safi - Adams jump

Safi Beach, North of Essouira on the Moroccan coast, hosts an international Pro Surfing tournament each year. For the rest of the year, this stretch of sand is inhabited by only a few locals. The perfect place for a pause. The beach is also an example of Morocco's developing environmental policy in action.
