Difficult to concieve that this whole Temple is a reconstruction of the actual Temple which went down under the Aswan High Dam
Hindu temple in China Town Singapore, the oldest temple in Singapore. Had just been restored. Cost $3.00 to take photos and had to take shoes off but ground where it was not shaded was too hot to walk on so only got to see the middle 'shaded' areas.

Part of the beliefs is to ring the bell on the door each time you enter and exit as good luck however we could not reach them on the door! Door was at least 5m high!
You can spot the temple far before you actually get to it fromt he height and colour.

The beautiful Baha'i Temple, or Lotus Temple. As some one who studied architecture, it was a place I wanted to visit badly. It is truly a wonder to see and has more visitors than the Taj Mahal.

A performance was held here, where performers played drums and people dressed as warriors did a march.
Up these stairs, we come to a temple where swallows fly overhead and swoop down on mosquitoes. This part is filled with tourists as they make their way to and fro the bazaar.
At the booth where you can pick up the scroll and paper, a Buddha greets you. Behind are some tourists practicing their writing skills. Again, this is in the Buddhist temple.
You probably cannot see from here, but on the day we visited the Buddhist temple, we saw one of Siddhartha's finger bone. If I would guess, it would be his pinky. Monks and tourists pray together.
