Walking down the street from our apartment towards Kensington Park, we saw an eye-catching structure, extremely tall and old. The exterior looked like it might have been burned at some point. I was so intrigued, I urged the family to sneak in and explore. My mom was extremely uncomfortable trespassing. It's an Anglican church, part of the Church of England.

Robyn and I on the steps of St Pauls. Truly - I know you can't see St Paul's, but I really couldn't get us AND the church into the shot...
Apparrently the Pope will come out to the red-curtained window on Easter Sunday and bless the crowd. There were a few people with our tour group who kept pointing to random buildings and asking (quite in earnest), 'Is the Pope in there?' lol
The largest Catholic church in the world. (Not by chance - new Catholic churches that are built MUST be smaller than this one, by law.) Apparently Simon Peter is buried under this church, but after hearing the story behind it I reckon it could be anyone's bones that they've got under there...
