Susie with the metal 'quilt' outback students made for the ASSOA's 60th anniversary this year

ASSOA is the oldest School of the Air in the world. There are now 16 in Australia. Students do lessons in sheds, homes etc on cattle stations and remote communities and talk to their teachers, who are in Alice Springs, via video conference. Some live more than 1000km away.
