Waiting for Peace Corps khoombi in Borakalalo
These may resemble animal companions, but they have a different sort of symbiotic relationship with humans. They clean up food scraps and chicken poop around the yard, as seen here working in the outdoor cooking area. Archeological evidence suggests that dogs first began hanging around humans, when humans adopted lifestyle with middens (garbage). These dogs, learned quickly though that some humans like to play and talk to them, and they became my friends.
