Look who's driving. Steering the boat out of the harbour.
A pretty girl at a pretty harbour - Phyllis posed for me in front of this line of traditional Greek fishing boats. There were also many modern boats here as well but I set up the shot to avoid them. It was mid-day so I'm really not sure why somany fishing boats were still there.
The sea was a bit choppy today!
Just a pretty house on Samos. Hey, they rent rooms here!
The furthest rug beneath the feet of the man in the blue shirt is similar to one we purchased, but ours is larger, for some reason it a photo opportunity did not occur, they did have me write on the back it so when it arrived we could be certain it was the one we purchased. I got the distinct feeling, they may have done this once or twice before.

More Puzzle work
Puzzle experts, putting a terrace house back together
This mosiac floor is only one of many inside the houses. If the floors were not marble then they were decorated with a mosaic. As far as I know these have been untouched other than uncovering and cleaning them, but they are piecing the marble floors and walls back together

Under the Canopy - once inside you must stay on the platforms which carry you above and next to the areas you are viewing.
The large modern looking structure in the background is the layered canopy system that covers the Terrace Houses.
This theater was so large I could not get it all in one picture. We were told it seated 24,000 people. It was used for many events depending on the need and time period
I hate to say it but I cannot remember the details of this building. I don't think it was a temple, but I could be wrong
This is Phyllis standing in a main throughway in Ephesus all along this throughway would have been shops, etc. They know it was an important one because of the inlaid marble on the road and mosiacs next to it
Inside the Greek Agora Building.
The Restored Greek Agora - this building was restored by the Rockefellers in the 1930's I believe. It is a combination of original pieces and new ones. It is quite amazing.
