The Blue Grotto - Capri
The beautiful Jama Masjid, created by the same architect of the Taj Mahal. You can see the similar styles. The place was crowded as I got there just before prayer, but could not get in (as I am not muslim). I waited just after prayer and took some pictures. The place was amazing.
No hint of irony there.
The Shikara driver (ferryman), in Srinigar, who took me across from my house boat to the land had this on his paddle.
It is 5:00 am, my shikara driver promised me a boat road out to the floating market on Dal Lake. So here I am blurry eyed and barely awake early morning as the sun tries to rise.
Mmmm candies. I coud pass up a chance to eat some pure sugar. A vendor was selling these delights at the market of Dal Lake.
Shamilar Bagh, one of the many gardens of Srinigar. A great view to see and visit.
The man who showed me around Srinagar and his son.
The sky of Kashmir is just beautiful
Was taking a tour around Dal Lake. Saw this man fishing as the sun was peaking out after the rain. There background is blanketed by water lilies.
Evil monkey... he stole our Nescafe. Lesson learned, dont put down a tea when a monkey is around.
Saw these stacks of grains just on the mountian chilling.
My travel mate in Jammu. She is amazingly tired after our all night hike and our walk back down a mountain that is 9 miles of trekking.
My travel mate and I wait in the KC Residency lounge before heading up the Trikuta mountain on a pilgrimage.
Wine barrels stored in an underground cave
