The ball park where the Boston Red Sox play baseball
After many hours of rain and heavy sky, the sun appeared for a few minutes in the late afternoon and "goldened" that greyish day in Downtown Rio... The photo was taken from the terrace of a building located close to Tiradentes Square.
Sunset in Downtown Rio: Central Station Building (to the left), Duque de Caxias Palace (former Ministry of War, to the right) and "Morro da Providência" (Providence Hill).
Some contrasts in Downtown Rio: the modern San Sebastian Cathedral (1972); the old District of Lapa, a night life neighbourhood, where restaurants, bars, music & dance clubs abound; and, on the background, Santa Teresa Hill, a charming residential neighbourhood, full of restaurants, art galleries and ateliers.
New York City, New York, USA
Mid-town Manhattan is very dense and tall, but from up here they look like ant colonies!
Here is "Avenida Nueve de Julio", known as the world's widest avenue (twelve traffic lanes - six lanes both sides), one of Buenos Aires most famous post-cards. La Plata River can be seen on the back.
Here we can see one of Buenos Aires' most important post-cards: "Avenida Nueve de Julio", known as the world's widest avenue (twelve traffic lanes - six lanes both sides), and the famous Obelisk Monument, in the confluence with also famous "Avenida Corrientes".
Capital of the Province of Buenos Aires, La Plata (just 50 minutes from Buenos Aires City, by car) is a still young city: its construction started in 1882, based in a modern and innovative urban planning project, whose main characteristics had influenced the construction of Belo Horizonte (Brazil), 15 years later. In this pic, a sight of "Plaza Moreno" (Moreno Square), with the City Hall on the back. La Plata worths a visit, for sure!
Another view of Downtown Rio.
One of brazilian most beautiful cities, Recife blends rich cultural and historical attractions with fine beaches. Here we can see Boa Viagem, a district famous for its beach... waiting for the rain! I took this pic from a plane, leaving Recife.

Filming something on the streets of Tribeca in New York City
Tribeca is the "tri"angle "be"low "Ca"nal street.
Riverside Park, running on the west side of NYC along the Hudson River. The cannons are protection against New Jersey, I guess.
This pic shows Rio Grande do Sul's State Government administration building, in the district of Praia de Belas. On the back, the Guaíba River.
Built in 1869, in neoclassical style, the Public Central Market is one of Porto Alegre's most important landmarks, located in the very heart of the city, close to the old wharf, on the Guaíba River.
Here we can see two of Porto Alegre's most important landmarks: the City Hall (1901) and the Public Central Market (1869), both in neoclassical style, located in the very heart of the city, close to the old wharf, on the Guaíba River.
I've taken this pic when flying from Rio to São Paulo. Here we can see the place where Rio was founded, in 1565, close to the entrance of Guanabara Bay: Praia de Fora ("Outer Beach"), between the Sugar Loaf (to the left) and the Cara de Cão - "Dog's Face" (to the right) hills. Botafogo Inlet and the districts/beaches of Urca and Botafogo can also be seen.
Here is another view of Curitiba, taken from the Botanical Garden, one of the city's top landmarks.
This is Curitiba, a booming town in Southern Brazil. With more than 3 million people in its Metropolitan Area, this three centennial melting pot city becomes an important industrial center nowadays, famous for its innovative urban projects. This pic, taken from Telepar Tower (357 feet high), shows a part of Curitiba's Downtown.
Inaugurated in 1954, Ibirapuera is São Paulo's most important urban park, a paulistanos' (São Paulo's citizens)favourite. It encompasses gardens, museums, exhibition halls and monuments. This pic shows the Monument to the Constitutional Soldier.
