I started crying when I saw the Taj. to me it didn't look real until I actually touched it. nothing can describe this place, or how it feels to be there. I am truly a blessed person.
If it moves, it will be on the highway, I promise.
they are actually water buffalo.
we stopped to get something to eat and these Rajasthanis' were playing music and dancing for rupees.
I took a picture of this dude and had to pay for it. I finally threw some rupees through a crack in the window b/c he got mad at me.
This photo epitomizes the traffic in India. The more the merrier!
two snakes are better than one.
I have started to forget which tomb is which b/c we saw so many. but these kids were on a field trip
EDIT: gandhi's ashes are not here. it is a simple monument put here by the Indian gov't. He wanted no memorial of any kind for himself and his ashes were split up and poured into the various rivers in India.
Stretching and waking up. I love India b/c you can sleep anywhere and no one will bother you.
These indians would be millionaires if they sold real estate in USA.
This man is a rug maker near the taj mahal, he worked for a touristy salesman. every monument we visited, the guides would take us to tourist traps that would pay them to bring us, then force benjie and i to buy something. Benjie faked nausea one time so that we could escape. thanx, benj.
Old Delhi really was an adventure. can't really describe it but our guide told Benjie to hold on to his bag the whole time instead of take pictures.
This lady is selling fruit in Old Delhi. If you eat fruit with the peeling on, you have to soak it in Iodine Tincture so that you will not get sick. Benjie and I ate a bunch of stuff, but no peeling.
The Red Fort is a huge and is named so after the red sandstone it is constructed from. It is located in New Delhi.
