We went to a children's school and taught them American games. If you look towards to the distance to the left, the white guy in the teal polo is me. I taught children how to play Frisbee, and of course we donated some sports equipment.

Peasant Farmers

Some peasant farmers we found in the countryside outside Bamenda. Given the general isolation of the place it is probably a good guess we were the first white people these kids had ever seen.

Easter parade in the streets of Douala

The first night we were in Cameroon we stayed at a Hotel in Douala. I imagine by African standards this Hotel was really good given the fact that we had AC and even a black and white television. It was still maddeningly hot even with the AC turned on, but we were comforted with an hour long parade through the streets of Douala during Easter festivities.

Prepared for Africa!

Here is the entire group that went to Cameroon. The nice African woman to the far right was our host's wife, although her name escapes me. If I remember correctly, she didn't speak as much English as her husband.
