Every year Nellis AFB opens to the public for 'Aviation Nation'. Over 300,000 people visited Nellis on Sat. & Sunday. Free to the public and one of the few days a civilian can walk the flightline. Many aircraft are on display, both old and new. Many of the planes also give air demonstrations. The Thunderbirds have been flying the F-16 Fighting Falcon since '83.
