Builders Beach Penguins, Simon's Town

Actually, most of the penguins are on Foxy Beach. Boulders Beach is the popular swimming spot, but there aren't many penguins there.

This turtle is about three months old. They are hatched from eggs laid by wild turtles on a nearby beach (five eggs are removed from each clutch). Once reared, they are returned to the sea

Turtles near Port Vila

These turtles are about to be released back into the ocean. The hatchery has released about 100 to date (they also breed them for the local restaurants, however)
