Sunset at Horseshoe Bend

That is a breathtaking horseshoe-shaped meander of the Colorado River, located near the town of Page, Arizona. It was a beautiful evening, I placed the tripod on the edge of the canyon, and, with the wide angle, I waited until the last moment of sunset in order to catch the very last light before the sun was hiding behind the rocks.

Bend, Oregon

The city of Bend with the Cascades in the background. For you New England folks, the highway beginning at the left bottom corner of the picture and running upward at a slight angle to the right is the other end of Route US 20. Yes, that is the same US 20 that runs from Stockbridge to Boston.

Gettin' our baby fixed!

Our main purpose for stopping in Bend was to visit Beaver Coach Sales. They are the go to guys for our particular make of motorhome. We had a list of about a dozen items that we've accumulated since we bought it 8 months ago. BCS fixed everything and we were charged a very reasonable price. Great folks here.
