Changing the Bogies - the wheel units - is supposedly one of the highlights of the Russian rail experience. Russia and Mongolia use a different rail gauge to the rest of the world, hence the need to raise the carriages, unbolt the wheels and slip a new set under the entire string of carriages. Note: It takes about two hours and you can't use the toilets while work is in progress.
These are Amsterdam's famous and highly efficient trams. The units are articulated, meaning that two body sections share one set of wheels (ensuring the trams are light and speedy).
