The shopping precinct to the right is called The A Avenue. It has a HMV music stores and many others. I used to race up here to catch the bus back to Wiltshire. Came down here when we had a thunderstorm, the first crash sounded like someone banging a drum.

Bournemouth band stand

Every Sunday during the summer different bands from round the region, play to an audience who sit in the park. These are the New Forest group I think.
