There are numerous cafes found in Paris, and the Place Dauphine square is no exception, this photo showing just one of the many cafes found near here which make it an ideal yet quiet place to stop at for a break.
Here in the Latin Quarter of Paris you can see this street which leads onto the Place Saint Michel Square, having some cafes along which are shaded by many trees to create a calm atmosphere.
It's been 32 degrees every day and no relief in sight. We went for morning coffee but I could not face a hot drink, so ordered an iced coffee instead. It was more like an icecream but very strong coffee flavour.

I had steak tartare where Simone de Beauvoir, Jorge Luis Borges, Jean-Paul Sartre, Ernest Hemingway, Albert Camus and Pablo Picasso ate!! It tasted terrible but what a thrill
