Crystal clear water in the canals

As we passed an ancient priory, we were blown away by the clarity of the canals - our guide later told us the once polluted waterways were now protected by the local council, so these days they only got muddy after heavy rains

A fake cow???

Our tour group couldn't quite work out why this person had put a papier mache cow in their backyard... I guess its similar to having a pink plastic flamingo (or garden gnome) in other countries.
