This Horse-Shoe Bat is a common sight in caves of Borneo. This particular shot was taken in Bukit Sarang, a limestone cave located in Bintulu Sarawak.
Jamilex, a young Kichwa del Oriente Ecuadorian, who lives in a small indigenous community on an island in the great Rio Pastaza, gets really excited to prepare for the arrival of a midday tourist group to her neck of the woods.
This place is called Bukit Sarang; "Bukit : Hill" and "Sarang ; Nest" . It is one of the natural bird nest collection area hence giving its name.
