This pretty flower caught my eye while we were on the Isle of Contadora of the Pearl Islands, Panama
A southern humpback whale hangs in the water with his/her fluke partially out of the water.

One of the many fancy homes on the island.
Contadora is small enough that there are very few cars, mostly golf carts and the heavy duty ATVs (pictured here) booting around the island.

With hundreds of islands and only a few inhabited, finding a beach to yourself is not difficult.

Contadora is a weekend getaway from Panama City's wealthy, as well as foreigners like Jimmy Carter and Liz Taylor.

The largest of Contadora's 12 beaches, Playa Larga is just outside the New Hotel Contadora resort.
