An old cottage in the misty mountains between Calvi and Bastia
A beautiful old church between Saint Florent and Bastia in Patrimonio.
The main harbour facing old town
Beautiful graffiti inside the citadel in Calvi
Night view of the main citadel in Calvi
A nice photo during our walk to the citadel
The main fresco in the Cathedral of Saint-Jean-Baptiste
The main promenade of Calvi harbour
The nearly empty, white sand, and spotless beach that is Palombaggia. The photo does not do the clear water justice.
The beach of Santa Giulia. A bit more commercial but very shallow for ways out and family friendly. You can literally walk out to the edge of the bay as its soft sand with few rocks.
A view of the old town perched on top of the cliffs
Sailboats anchored in a sheltered lagoon inside the cliffs around Bonifacio. Many companies offer sightseeing tours of the cliffs and caves that can only be reached by boat.
A lighthouse in one of the many lagoons on the exit from the main harbour
Archways in narrow street inside old town Bonifacio
The delightful restaurant we had dinner on our first night in Bonifacio
Bonifacio citadel lit up at night. The old town lies inside
The view of the walk along the cliffs to the lighthouse in the distance
The rugged, natural, and beautiful coastline of Bonifacio
The beautiful beach that is Palombaggia, Probably my favorite part of the island.
