This has black legs. The Great White Heron looks almost identical, but has yellow legs and is a morph of the Great Blue Heron, not an Egret (though they are related)
The weather was decent today, but the birds seemed to still be bunched up together waiting for it to warm up. A small tricolor heron is in the middle of the egrets.
In the campsite behind the RV
If you look closely, you can see the tail of an alligator on the right. The birds don't seem to mind and feed in the same ponds and areas as the gators.
The small Heron on the left is not a baby, just a smaller species called a Tricolor Heron.
