So many trees are beginning to bloom now that it's Spring in London - this particular shot captures lots of gorgeous white cherry blossoms in Hyde Park
This is an unusual sub-species (?) of Indian Paintbrush, much more magenta then red. It seemed fairly common in the redwoods up here.
This seems to be one of the few flowers that can grow in the shaded floor of the redwood forest. It was broad daylight, but I had to use a flash to get this shot
Mom liked the wild iris blooming out at Point Reyes
We weren't sure what these are, but they were quite large and spectacular.
These were growing by the fence, Mom really liked them.
The daffodils at Hyde Park were just too tempting... Lici got to experience her Alice in Wonderland fantasy - lying down in a field of flowers...
Seems kind of early for Iris and Daffodils, but blooming they are!

These grow in many states, but not as numerously as in CA. It is the CA State flower.
