I was a few minutes late for this cycle of eruptions.
Strokkur (Icelandic for "churn") is a fountain geyser located in a geothermal area beside the Hvítá River. It erupts every 6–10 minutes. Its usual height is 55 ft (15–20 m), although it can sometimes erupt up to 131 ft (40 m) high.
