Grace and Renee, purse and toy bags in tow, prepare to leave home for a day of shopping (mostly errands, but a little shopping too)
Grace holds the white teddy bear Daddy/Papa gave her for Valentine's Day
The following evening (Thursday) Grace decided to try the combo experience - keeping her left leg in her bed while exploring the comforts of the pillows with her right leg - very comfy!
The next evening (Wednesday) she "test-slept" the new blue pillows (although they are not exactly flat, Grace doesn't seem to mind)
That evening (Tuesday) she made an early exit - she normally waits until the middle of the night to roll out of bed (we position large pillows under the opening in the side rail so she has a soft place to land, apparently the "landing pad" is comfortable to sleep on too)
The following morning (Tuesday) she had made her way out of bed and onto the floor (resting very comfortably, you will notice)
This is how peaceful Grace looks immediately after being placed in her bed (but, just give her a few minutes!)
That evening (Monday) she found the foot of the bed
I found her at the head of her bed early one morning (Monday) and decided to document her various sleeping positions (it was just the beginning!)
Grace and Grammy Stearns (Jim's mother) play with the tea pot while Grandpa Stearns (Jim's father) looks on
Grace enjoys tea time inside the princess play house
Grace, still trying to figure out how to walk in sandals, stands in our living room next to the play house she received as a gift from our friends the Whites
Grace in her new sun dress and butterfly sandals next to Kimberly's VW Beetle (this was her first time in sandals and she acted like her feet were bolted to the ground and she couldn't walk)
Grace sits in Grandpa Olsson's (Renee's father) lap holding her new baby doll
Grace and Grandma Kathy (Renee's step-mother) inspect the suspension of the Chevron toy car
Grace looks concerned about her new bee pillow (a gift from Aunt Kim, Renee's brother Randy's wife) but Grammy Ruth (Renee's mother) is just happy to be holding Grace in her arms
Uncle Russell (Renee's brother) and Aunt Denys (Russell's wife) smile pretty as Grace reaches for the camera while Uncle Ray (Renee's sister Rochelle's husband) looks on
Uncle Russell (Renee's brother) stands next to Grace as she watches Renee prepare her dinner of rice and egg-drop soup during our get together at Uncle Randy's (also Renee's brother) house to celebrate our return to Florida
