View from Sawtooth Winery

May 12, 2012 - We went winery hopping today. The Sawtooth Winery was one of two wineries we visited. The other was the Bitner Winery. Wine making is alive and well in the Caldwell/Nampa area of Idaho.

Balanced Rock, Buhl, ID

Balanced Rock is a natural phenomenon carved by the winds of time. It stands some 48 feet tall on a base that is only 17 by 30 inches and weighs in at around 40 tons.
