Aquarium Gobius
Gobius is a small aquarium of Shimane Prefecture, which stands next to the lake Shinji. You can see Japanese giant salamanders (Andrias japonicus), an endangered species.

Izumo Taisha Kaguraden
Kagura is a dance dedicated to gods and this is the place where these dances are performed. You can see a shimenawa (sacred straw rope), that weighs 5t and measures 13m across.

Wariko soba
Specialty of Izumo, buckwheat noodles in wariko, tiered boxes. Usually soba is served with dipping sauce, but when you eat wariko soba, you just pour sauce on it.
