Mom and I finally made it to the last of the four 'corners' of the continental US. The point was actually about 3/4 of a mile down this trail, which was much too difficult for Mom, so we just took our picture at the trail head.
Here I am at the farthest NW point in the continental US. Very beautiful spot, I had trouble tearing myself away from it!
This is in the Quinault Rain Forest, by Lake Quinault. The circumference is 58'11". It was 191 feet tall, but it looks like some of the top may have been broken off.
This is an asian restaruant, but also has several other menu's. The food was quite good and reasonably priced.
Another lady was out on the beach collecting rocks. Her husband and I shared some of what we'd found.
We couldn't quite fit the RV through this tree, so figured we might as well fit us into it!
These folks were RV'ing also, like us. They were from Canada and found the US State Parks to be a great way to travel.

My brother and his wife took us to Chico one day to do a little sightseeing. I think he was a little surprised at how many photo's I take during this trip.

My cousin Jim let me try shooting some of his pistols. Can't say I was good, but I didn't embarass myself too much.
This restaurant and orchards have been run by the same family for 30 years. They served us cider made from Arkansas Black Apples.
Mom and I are posing with one of the adults in period garb - a school group was preparing to stay overnight and everyone, kids - parents and teachers had to dress and act appropriatly for the period.
I had to touch the water in the Atlantic, so why not the Pacific also?
We pulled over at one of the many scenic vista points to enjoy the view.

Well, Mom and I have made it to the third 'corner' in our circumnavigation of the USA.
Now really, how often do you get to ride in a real stagecoach?
There are a couple of buggies set up for folks to try out (stationary though).
Mom actually managed to grab the camera from me for this.
Somehow, Mom managed to 'cage me in'. Can you tell it's about 82 Degrees F out?
This time, Mom took a picture of me feeding the birds.

The sand was so white, I had trouble seeing with all the glare, so tried the hat so see if it would help (it did a little)
