When you visit a flower show on its second-last day, don't expect all the flowers to be in full bloom... they are more likely to be well past their best, like these poor examples.
We had a great time acting like big kids at the Keukenhof gardens - this pose shows it!
Being spring, the baby ducklings were out in force... so adorable
Pansies and tulips combined to make this stunning flower display at the Keukenhof gardens... Trav looked kinda pretty too, I guess (LOL)
This amazing display would have blown away my Mum and Nanna, who love azaleas... Just stunning
The most enormous flower I have seen!
Me standing with a map of the Keukenhof gardens - thrilled to bits!
Love this view of the flowers - reminds me of a scene in the cartoon version of 'Alice in Wonderland', where she's lying down amongst the daisies...
This very formal garden was beautiful to spend time in... and the hyacinths smelt divine!
Again at the formal gardens, we enjoyed checking out the water features and statues, that were complemented by the formal planting patterns
A sad sight... these glorious, ebony tulips were just starting to decay... in fact, it was a bit gothic (and added to the effect I guess)
These explosive, bright tulips put on an amazing show - it would be incredible to grow them back home!
Sadly, these tulips were past their 'best by' date when we saw them... however the colour was still incredible!
