Our flight we took in leaving 5 minutes after we landed

Planes shoot down the sloping airstrip at Lukla and take off over the Abyss.
We hadn't even left the tarmac before the luggage and been unloaded, new luggage stowed and the last of the passengers were getting on board for the return flight to Kathmandu.
Lukla airstrip comes into view. With a steep cliff in front and a steep cliff behind the landing needs to be jsut right. Fortunately ours was!
After taxiing to the end of the runway our pilots decided to read the latest news whilst we were waiting for the all clear to go for our flight to Lukla
