Very popular, mentioned in every tourist guide, Plachutta symbolises all the best of typical Viennese cuisine. Definately it's a brand, but even being SO famous they are not spoiled. They keep exceptional cooking and perfect service. Tenderest veal (who grew up in the alpine meadows, as stated in the menu), immersed in a fragrant broth, is fabulously delicious. The meat served in a gleaming copper pans /to keep it warm/; the waiter pours extra portions when you finished.

Oh, yea, we are cooking. Mood of our kitchen is flexible, depends of location, weather and season. I can describe our cooking as Mix of Mediterranean and European flavors with some iternatonal accents and additions. Can't avoid Viennese Schnitzel, when in Viena!
I was a bit surprised to see the small servings children have for their meals. However, I have forgotten what it is like to eat so little when you're little too. These metal lunch trays are the same as the ones we have at Harbin No. 1.

This the bento lunch on the Japan Airlines. It had salmon with seasoned rice, then a cold burger on top of rice, and some veggies. The green thing is a sweet Jelly.
