A different perspective on a sunset
Grand on the inside and the outside, San Agustin Church is filled with relics depicting Roman Catholic saints and the life of Jesus Christ.
The Philippines is well known for its exquisite sunsets. I was lucky enough to catch these beautiful hues while standing on my balcony.
Jeepneys are synonymous with the Philippines. They are remnants of WWII Willy's that are specially decorated by their owners. No two jeepneys are alike. They are the main form of transportation in the Philippines and they are EVERYWHERE. They would be the equivalent of the VW buses that the Hippies used back in the days. Some are heavily decorated while this one is simple and elegant (in its own way). A jeepney ride will cost you between 10-20 PHP (less than $.50).
Built in 1586 and completed in 1606, this Roman Catholic church is a testament to Spain's supremacy over the island for over 400 years. It is enclosed within the walled city of Intramuros.
The city glows and shines! The Makati Cityscape and the usual noise from the crazy hustle and bustle still looks pretty despite the audible chaos it was causing to my auditory system. Taken at Taft Manila when Manila at some building. Canon EOS 400D with the basic kit lens.
