The boys were staring at all the motorbikes lined up and at Ed, lying on his, reading a book. They then kicked the water buffalo on (it runs, rolling from side to side) and the little boys fell off in a heap on the road. It was very funny to watch. How I wished I had videoed them....
Nick had to take a conference call so we all waited for him in this Hmong village. While he was on the phone, we watched village life and I just took photos. Mostly of rear views as the people can be very uncomfortable with the camera for superstitious reasons but it was a great hour, just watching life go by.

He feigned disinterest in us as we stood and admired the view and had a rest but was watching us from the corner of his eye.
