This is the aerial view of Brancaster Staithe, an old word for harbour, and Scolt Head Island. A great place to sail, fish, walk and bird watch.
Because the Norfolk coast has an Eastern, Northern and Western shore you can windsurf or kite surf somewhere nearly every day.
You may not believe it, but there is surfing on the north Norfolk coast. A real surfers community has sprung up, with beaches like West Runton becoming very popular. Kite surfing and boogey boarding have also become very popular.
The Norfolk coastline is abundant with character. Beautiful sandy beaches, muddy creakes, sandstone cliffs, salt marshes, pebbles and harbours. A stunning place to walk, cycle, bird watch or just relax.
On the many beaches in Norfolk you find an interesting selection of beach huts. In very few places are they uniform, with each owner creating their own individual little escape. Almost as worth while visiting at the beaches themselves.
In the centre of the University of East Anglia campus, norwich, there is an amazing art gallery. The building was built to house the Sainsbury family art collection, with famous pieces from around the world.
Much of Norwich is pedestrianised with an amazing array of shops. The oldest part of the city is Tombland around the cathedral
Norwich cathedral is stunning, with walled grounds, cloisters and other stunning architecture in the middle of the fabulous city of Norwich.
