In this photo taken on the Pont Neuf you can see one of the ornate lamp posts which run along the bridge edge with a plaque beneath it with the River Seine being seen in the background.
Here at Square de l'Ile de France you can find a board dedicated to providing information in French, English and German for the Memorial des Martyrs de la Deportation which is found there.
Here you can see the plaque which is found near the top of the Fountaine Saint Michel and in the middle, stating that the monument was inaugurated in 1860, as well as being made during the reign of Napoleon III for Paris.
Discovered by a man out walking with his dog!
Walking back to the car, we spotted this little plaque on a fence outside Lumiere's mansion! How cool...
