Angkor Wat after sunrise. I managed to get up at 5.00a.m to go see the sunrise, Dad'll be surprised I was up in time! Unfortunately there was too much cloud cover to see a spectacular sunrise or sunset but the place was magical anyway.
On our way from Tiger Leaping Gorge to Zonghdian we passed this amazing natural feature in Baishuitai. The cool water was running down the soft limestone terraces and the surrounding countryside was beautiful.
I spent a couple of afternoons at this beautiful pool after mornings spent scuba diving. I also took advantage of the happy hours in this spot - 2 long island iced tea's for the price of 1 (1 quid)! For those that know me you may be surprised to hear this admission!!
