A government sponsored musician strikes up a tune in the entrance chowk to Jaisalmer Fort. Sure, he was doing it for the benjamins (baksheesh benjamins?), but he was engaging, friendly, and he knew what he was doing with his chunk of wood. Good on him.
Umaid Bhavan is one of the modern palaces completed just before India's independence . Today, it has three sections. A museum, the residence of the king, and an exclusive deluxe hotel.

On my way back from Namli ... i stoped as i spot the Gadia Lohars a Nomadic tribe on a yearly trip along with their camels and sheep.... I loved the Roti's, Garlic and Chilli Paste, with butter milk and onions....
Who would not to come, stay and see the splendior of this palace....

Udaipur is famous around the world as the City Of Lakes or Venice of The East. The Pichola Lake, Fateh Sagar, Udai Sagar and Swaroop Sagar in this city are considered some of the most beautiful lakes in the state.
Jodhpur is called the 'Blue City'... now you know why.
