While the machines in the mill are fairly old, they are still in use.
There's a nice walk up in the back side og Muang Ngoi. After a bit more than one hour, crossing small steams and tiny villages you get to a wonderful and vast area where rice fields grow everywhere. I spent some time there with locals having something for lunch. After a while, they let me take pictures. This is one of them.
