Old Holland Fort Benteng Duursteede from seeside. In ancient time of VOC (Vereenigte Oostindische Compagnie) the cannons of Benteng Duurstede dominated the full bay. See it today, the massive gray wall with little tower over the coastline. The old Saparua habour is left. In front under the fort the concrete wall against the very poverful waves &storms monsum time (most july & august).
