Dieng Plateu, is a marshy plateau that forms the floor of a caldera complex on the Dieng active volcano complex near Wonosobo, Central Java, Indonesia. Referred to as "Dieng" by Indonesians, it sits at 2,000m above sea level far from major population centres. The name "Dieng" comes from Di Hyang which means "Abode of the Gods".
Muztagh Ata peak - is one of the highest and most popular summits of the Pamirs. Muztagh Ata rises over the Karakorum highway for 4000 m and reaches an absolute altitude of 7546 m. The name Muztagh Ata means "Father of Ice Mountains" in the local Uygur language. It is third highest summit of the Pamirs after Kongur (7719 m) and Kongur Tebe (7595 m). We were at Kalpa - above Rekong Peo. The sun was setting behind us, and there was dayligt only on the mountain tops. Kinnaur has a heavenly sunset.
