This small fox surprised when it showed up hunting in the Tikal park. I watched it for 10-15 minutes with no one else around before it finally scampered off.

Our guide surprised us by bringing over a tarantula and offered to let anyone who wanted hold it. I was the first to volunteer (only 2 of us did) but I zipped up my rain jacket and tightened down the sleeves first!
From a height of several hundred meters, we could see various temples rising out of the jungle. Although the pictures may not have turned out, the view through the mist was gorgeous.
