Here you can see a quadriga statue at the top of the roof of the Grand Palais, showing the many details which are normally unseen from the ground while passing by.
This collection of statues is dedicated to Marie Emile Fayolle which can be found at the top of the various statues, with the writing at the base of it reading "Marie Emile Fayolle, Marechal de France 1852 - 1928"
Here in this photo you can see a large statue that is to the side of the Petit Palais' gilded and intricate gate, having been designed for the 1900 World Fair by Charles Girault.
Dotted throughout Paris you can find many Velib stations near many points of interest or shops you may want to visit, and all Velib bikes are recognisable with their same design as well as being unisex for all to use.
Velib bikes are great for use where ever you wish to go, and can be seen to the side of the road like in this photo, with multiple ones available for use.
Here you can see one of the many bike stations with numerous bikes to pick from and use, as well as the automated ticket machine, meaning you can walk up and get a bike without needing to pre-book.
Even in Paris the capital city of France you can always find local pubs and restaurants which are from many different countries, such as this pub which is centred around Scotland and even has the sign outside written in English.
In this photo you can see a Rickshaw, which is a popular type of transport for tourists who wish to get around the city without the effort of biking themselves.
With many of the glass buildings in Paris and other major cities there is always a need to keep them clean, as can be seen in this photo with a photo of workers in a gondola, who obviously are not scared of heights!
A golden statue which is part of the Pont Alexandre III bridge can be seen in the foreground of the photo, with another statue which can be found on the roof and great architecture of the Grand Palais in Paris.
In this photo you can see a elegant stone statue between the columns, or pillars, found at the front of the Grand Palais, showing not only the details of the statue but also the ornate street lamp in the foreground.
Here you can see the front facade of the Grand Palais, showing just how large the building is compare to the tourists visiting it, as well as the great architecture that has gone into the structure.
There are numerous cafes found in Paris, and the Place Dauphine square is no exception, this photo showing just one of the many cafes found near here which make it an ideal yet quiet place to stop at for a break.
Place Dauphine square has an unusual shape to it, where it is in fact more of a triangular shape, this photo showing so with numerous chestnut trees planted around it.
In this photo you can see the silhouettes of a couple trees as well as a person sitting on a bench found within Place Dauphine, with the Palais de Justice in the background.
Here you can see the front of the Ecole Militaire, holding the French flag proudly at the top as well as allowing you to see the great architecture.
In front of the Ecole Militaire a statue of the Marshal Joseph Joffre can be found, who is well known for his efforts during World War One and his popularity.
In this photo you can see the Champ de Mars park going up to the Ecole Militaire, showing the many people relaxing down on the grass and in front of the building.
The Fountaine Saint Michel has many different details, including these two statues which are found on the left of the fountain higher up abode some columns.
In this photo you can see two of the four smaller statues which are found higher up on the Fountaine Saint Michel, showing not only the details of the statues but also the other amazing designs and architecture.
