In this photo you can see some of the many love locks which have been attached to the Pont de l'Archeveche, which is also known as the Lovers Bridge, where many couples have gone there to place their own.

Some of the details which are found on the Arc de Triomphe are sometimes missed, but as can be seen in this photo you can start to appreciate how much work was put into the structure, from the borders to the detailed yet small lion head statues.
This statue, known as Le Paix de 1815, was made to represent the peace after the treaty of Paris in the year 1815 and can be found on a column of the Arc de Triomphe.
Here you can see one side of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, showing the design work and one of the battle scenes carved out of stone near the top with incredible detail. More photos to be seen at www.eutouring.com/images_arc_de_triomphe.html
