All I can say is....WOW!
I have no idea what this is called, it was just pretty, especially with the red behind it.
Red Macaw at Paradise Village Resort, on of the hotels we regularly visit
The Military Macaw of Jalisco. These are indigenous to the area here, however poaching has drastically reduced their numbers. There are several programs now to help increase their numbers in the wild once again.
We helped release the day-old baby turtles in Puerto Vallarta.
Sculpture on the Malecon (boardwalk) in Puerto Vallarta.
Located near the Old Market in Puerto Vallarta.
Off shore of Old Town.
Frigate birds battling over a scrap of fish.
I do mean Little. Summer rains bring forth all kinds of cool critters. This tiny fellow (about the size of a thumbnail) was in my bathroom and I took him back outside, where he kindly obliged me by posing for a few pictures.
I seem to do a lot of early rising for these shots.
Leaving La Cruz De Huanacaxtle Marina at 3 am to get pictures like this is just amazing.
Fishing in Puerto Vallarta is always bound to bring some excitement. The spectacular ballet of 100lbs of fish 'dancing' on top of the water is a humbling sight to behold.
You have to get up mighty early to get pictures like this, but it's worth it.
Another perfect day on the water, another sailfish. We do let these amazing animals go, they are too beautiful.
Spending a day in Yelapa, a watertaxi ride from Puerto Vallarta is definitely worth the trip
The end to another perfect day in Paradise
