Amazingly painted mural
The Sugarbush Farm in Vermont makes fine cheeses and wonderful maple syrup.
At the Quechee Gorge Village, they produce two fine vodkas ... one from dairy "vermont white" and the other from maple "vermont gold". We tried them both and they were terrific. The white is oh-so-smooth and the gold is very unique.
From the Quechee Gorge Village website: "Danforth Pewter is a family-owned company that has been handcrafting pewter in Vermont for over thirty-five years. Reviving a 250-year family legacy, the artisans at Danforth’s Middlebury Vermont workshop blend traditional techniques with contemporary design to create heirloom-quality pewter oil lamps, vases, jewelry, key rings, ornaments, buttons, and gifts for babies and weddings."
Fine Pewter oil lamps made in Vermont by Danforth Pewter, available at the Quechee Gorge Village. Very nice stuff, but out of my price range ... until next trip.
The Fat Hat Clothing Company where there slogan is "Made in the USA ... on purpose". It's a quaint shop in a historic building. There made in vermont clothes for women is really well-made. This is the kind of stuff that will last a while. The ladies at the store were very nice. We were able to afford stuff from the "on sale" rack.
