Speech in Chinese to the school assembly

I was "volunteered" by Kristen to give the speech to the school assembly. Miles helped me and I did it in "ok" Chinese.

Our group on the stage at the welcome back to school ceremony

On the first day of the new semester, the school had a flag raising ceremony, speeches by top students and lead school officials and an introduction of us. It was really really cold.

Welcome Lunch

The teachers and principal Fan brought us across the street to a fabulous welcome lunch buffet on our intoductory day at Jingshan on Thursday before school started.

Principal Fan offered us some beer, but Kristen and I had to politely decline as we were with our students. He promised to take us out for a drink when we were not with our students.

After giving our speeches to the entire Jingshan teaching staff, we and the kids were invited to a welcome reception in one of the VIP lounges. Principal Fan said some very nice words and the students introduced themselves.
