Burnt landscape in Yosemite recovering from recent fire, Yosemite Park, California

Fires are common in the Yosemite Park and grasses and hedges are generally quick to recover, with tree stumps being a longer term reminder of the damage. This was the landscape we drove through to the Yosemite village.
