Our first dinner in Chongqing...at least 12 entrees at every meal!
The desk area...or the blogging station...
Here's where we sleep...
31 meters (101.7 feet) long! Only the upper part of the body is visible.
Vairocana in the middle, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva on the left and Manjusri Bodhisattva on the right. The three statues are each about 23 ft in height. The stone pagoda in Manjusri Bodhisattva's hand weighs over 1000 lbs and has stood steadily for over 800 years!
Six reincarnations of all living creatures are displayed in the wheel. The scene shows Buddhist karma and retribution.
High-rise Condos and Retail Centers on every city corner
Team photo in front of the training facility.
Chongqing is very lush and green. The training facility is surrounded by age-old trees and greenery and beautiful pagodas built into the hillside.
Recruiting ground for the Chinese National Team. These kids are considered "amateurs" but they would win "gold" in any competition in the US. They are AWESOME!
Chinese people love a bargain! And Walmart probably saves a ton on shipping costs since most of their inventory is made in China!
